Tan Bien District Military Command Party Committee: Summarizing 15 years of implementing Directive No. 154 of the Central Military Commission

Lieutenant Colonel Le Van Thu - Deputy Secretary of the Military Party Committee, Political Commissar of the District Military Command chaired the conference. Attending the conference were Lieutenant Colonel Huynh Tan Em - Commander of the District Military Command; Political Commissar, Head and Deputy Head of the Military Command of 10 communes and towns.

Over the past 15 years, the District Military Party Committee has carried out propaganda work well, especially in training, drills and in effectively fighting against distorted and anti-Party, State and Army arguments, improving the capacity of units in combining special propaganda with combat operations in the district's armed forces.

Every year, we have participated in the implementation of military and people's diplomacy well; continued to mobilize people to effectively implement the twinning contents between the government, the armed forces, residential areas and socio-political organizations on the border; maintained and strictly implemented the twinning plan with border districts and communes of the Kingdom of Cambodia and inland, exchanged 5,760 valuable pieces of information; mobilized people to denounce crimes and handled 914 cases with 1,325 subjects; promptly and effectively fought against the sabotage plots and tricks of reactionary forces; effectively resolved the issue of overseas Vietnamese and people migrating freely from Cambodia to reside in the area, contributing to building a peaceful, friendly, cooperative and developing border, firmly protecting independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity.

In particular, propaganda work is always associated with mass mobilization work, actively participating in local movements such as "Repaying gratitude", "Drinking water, remembering its source", "All people protect national security", "Joining hands to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", "Joining hands for the poor, leaving no one behind".

Lieutenant Colonel Huynh Tan Em - Commander of the District Military Command awarded certificates of merit to 4 outstanding individuals.

Coordinated with the people and local authorities to repair, upgrade, and build 75.5 km of rural roads; dredged, cleared, and upgraded 37.5 km of canals; planted new forests, helped people harvest and care for crops on 146 hectares... with 262,890 working days; supported 63 heroic Vietnamese mothers; repaired, renovated, and built 126 gratitude houses, comrade houses, and great solidarity houses; built 4 adjacent residential areas along the border to help 386 households eliminate hunger and reduce poverty; provided free medical examinations and medicine to 1,650 people worth more than 2.6 billion VND.

On this occasion, the District Military Command awarded 4 individuals with outstanding achievements in 15 years of implementing Directive No. 154 of the Central Military Commission.
