Beating a student, a teacher was fired

On the afternoon of March 23, Mr. Nguyen Hoa Nam - Principal of Victory Primary, Secondary and High School (Buon Ma Thuot City, Dak Lak Province) - said that he had fired Mr. HA (chemistry teacher and school supervisor) for beating a student .

Victory Primary, Secondary and High School suspended teacher HA for beating a student.

Previously, the school received a petition from a parent complaining that teacher HA had beaten a student.

Specifically, the parents were upset that Mr. HA had beaten their child many times, causing the child to be very scared when meeting him. The parents wanted the school to clarify the incident, so that their children could have a safe and healthy learning environment.

Upon receiving the information, the school asked Mr. HA to make a report and organize a meeting.

According to Mr. Nam, teacher HA admitted to beating the students because they were naughty at noon, refused to sleep, and teased other students. Therefore, teacher HA beat the students to warn them without discussing it with the school or their parents.

"At the beginning of the school year, teacher HA was reported by parents for beating students, the school took action. However, teacher HA did not correct the situation and reoffended, so the school was forced to fire him," Mr. Nam informed.
