Promoting the connection of green tourism journey Ninh Binh - Thanh Hoa

On the afternoon of April 10, within the framework of activities on the sidelines of the VITM 2025 International Tourism Fair (Hanoi), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thanh Hoa and Nghe An provinces and the Department of Tourism of Ninh Binh province jointly organized a conference to promote tourism with the theme "Green Tourism Journey".

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thanh Hoa province, Vuong Thi Hai Yen, said: Sustainable tourism and green tourism are becoming an inevitable trend globally, not only helping to protect the environment but also bringing long-term economic and social values. With the advantage of possessing diverse and rich natural resources, Ninh Binh - Thanh Hoa - Nghe An provinces have been focusing on developing a variety of tourism products, including green tourism products. Up to now, localities have been focusing on developing in the direction of "Ninh Binh Tourism - The beauty of the ancient capital", "Thanh Hoa Tourism - The scent of four seasons" and "Nghe An Tourism - Green journey". This is an important basis for localities to promote connections, creating green tourism itineraries that attract domestic and international tourists.

Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thanh Hoa province, Vuong Thi Hai Yen, on behalf of the localities, delivered a welcome speech at the conference.

The conference focused on discussing issues related to regional connectivity, building and developing green destinations, green tourism products, green journeys... and enhancing connectivity activities between localities.

Representatives of Thanh Hoa province's tourism businesses introduced the province's green tourism products and routes.

Along with that, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An provinces promoted new tourism products, outstanding events in 2025 and typical tourism activities.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Ha Van Sieu, Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, affirmed that Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, and Nghe An are the bridges connecting tourist regions in the country, playing an important role in promoting the "smokeless industry" to develop in a green and sustainable direction. Emphasizing the role of linkages to create new momentum for the tourism industry, he suggested that localities continue to promote cooperation and develop tourism in a professional direction, effectively exploiting existing advantages to make Ninh Binh - Thanh Hoa - Nghe An become typical destinations in the green tourism journey of the whole country. In particular, along with protecting the values ​​of natural resources, it is necessary to focus on preserving and promoting unique traditional cultural values ​​to develop sustainable green tourism.
