The locality has mobilized resources well, supported households to build and repair houses to ensure progress and completion before the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification.

Tra Vinh unites for the goal of sustainable social security

According to Mr. Le Van Han, Chairman of Tra Vinh Provincial People's Committee, in recent years, social security work has always been closely directed, specifically: The province has mobilized many resources to support the construction of new, repair and improvement of houses for more than 6,100 poor households, near-poor households, newly escaped poverty households, and disadvantaged households whose houses do not meet the 3 hard requirements (hard foundation, hard frame, hard roof), with a total implementation cost of over 492 billion VND. Of which, Tra Vinh Provincial Social Security Fund supported 3,339 households, with an amount of 167 billion VND and the Ministry of Public Security supported 1,300 households, with an implementation cost of over 84 billion VND.

In 2025, Tra Vinh will continue to implement the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses across the province with 2,921 households supported, with a total cost of more than 140 billion VND.
