At the conference, delegates focused on discussing, reviewing, and handling public works and real estate when arranging and streamlining the apparatus and administrative units; reviewing projects, works, and headquarters under construction or approved for construction investment policies that are affected by the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus and administrative units.
Delegates also proposed solutions to effectively use the headquarters of agencies and units in the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus; handling of degraded and unusable office buildings. At the same time, they proposed a number of solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles for long-standing backlog projects, projects that have not been approved for investment policies or have not completed legal procedures and projects that have not been completed in order to promptly resolve them, freeing up resources for the economy.
Currently, Tien Giang is managing and using 734 working offices (45 at the provincial level, 689 at the district level); 396 public service establishments (134 at the provincial level, 262 at the district level). The Provincial People's Committee has allocated detailed public investment capital plans for 2025 to provincial departments, branches, and sectors and district-level People's Committees with a total allocated capital of more than VND 7,000 billion. Implementing the conclusions of the Politburo and the Secretariat on the Project on rearranging and reorganizing administrative units at all levels and building a 2-level local government organization model, the Department of Finance has coordinated with provincial and local departments, branches, sectors to review 124 projects and works affected by the rearrangement and streamlining of the apparatus and administrative units with a total investment of more than VND 1,360 billion, with a total public investment plan for 2025 of more than VND 630 billion, accounting for 46.3% of the total investment.

After reviewing, Tien Giang province proposed a list of 107 projects and works affected by the restructuring and streamlining of the apparatus and administrative units that must be temporarily suspended with a total investment of more than VND 1,163 billion; and continued to implement 17 projects and works with a total investment of more than VND 198 billion.
