Some information about the social housing loan program at the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies
Trang Bom Social Policy Bank Transaction Office continues to provide preferential loans for purchasing, leasing social housing, housing for the people's armed forces; building or renovating, repairing houses according to Decree No. 100/2024/ND-CP. Accordingly, the loan amount for purchasing social housing at the Social Policy Bank is up to 80% of the contract value for purchasing or leasing a house. Borrowers include: People with meritorious services to the revolution, relatives of martyrs who are eligible for housing improvement support according to the provisions of the Ordinance on preferential treatment for people with meritorious services to the revolution; Poor and near-poor households in rural areas; Poor and near-poor households in rural areas in areas frequently affected by natural disasters and climate change; Poor and near-poor households in urban areas; Low-income people in urban areas; Workers and laborers working at enterprises, cooperatives, and cooperative unions inside and outside industrial parks; Officers, professional soldiers, non-commissioned officers of the people's armed forces, police workers, civil servants, defense workers and public employees currently serving in the army; people working in cryptographic work, people working in other positions in cryptographic organizations receiving salaries from the state budget currently working; Cadres, civil servants and public employees as prescribed by law on cadres, civil servants and public employees.

At the Trang Bom Social Policy Bank Transaction Office, since the beginning of the year, 12 customers have received disbursement for the Social Housing loan program with the total disbursement amount in the year reaching nearly 4 billion VND, bringing the total outstanding loan balance of the Transaction Office's programs to October 20, 2025 to over 576 billion VND, of which the outstanding loan balance for the Social Housing program reached nearly 17 billion VND with 46 customers still in debt, an increase of 1.5 billion VND compared to the beginning of the year.

In the coming time, the unit will continue to closely coordinate with information agencies, press, mass media, local authorities, departments, offices, functional units, entrusted socio- political organizations and the Management Board of Savings and Loan Groups to continue to promote the dissemination of this loan program to the people, helping beneficiaries access information about the program , clearly understand the conditions and procedures for borrowing. At the same time, provide specific instructions on documents and procedures so that people can access capital sources conveniently and quickly.
