Phuoc Thanh Commune launched a fundraising campaign to support people affected by storm No. 10.

On October 24, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phuoc Thanh commune, Tay Ninh province organized a fundraising campaign to support people in overcoming damage caused by storm No. 10.

Representatives of socio -political organizations in Phuoc Thanh commune support people affected by storms and floods.

Attending the event were Party Secretary, Chairwoman of the Commune People's Council Pham Thi Thuy Hang, along with comrades in the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of the Commune; representatives of political and social organizations; departments, branches, police and military forces, schools, religious establishments, Party cell secretaries, hamlet heads, hamlet Front Work Committees, and a large number of cadres, party members, people and philanthropists in the commune.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phuoc Thanh Commune, Phan Thi Kien, called on all cadres, civil servants, public employees, union members, association members and people inside and outside the commune to continue promoting the tradition of "Mutual love - Helping each other", actively participating in donations to share difficulties, helping people in flood-affected areas overcome the consequences of natural disasters and stabilize their lives.

During the ceremony, agencies, units, businesses, schools, religious establishments and individuals in the commune donated a total of more than 140 million VND. The entire amount of donations will be compiled by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phuoc Thanh commune and transferred to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Ninh province to promptly send to people in localities severely affected by the storm.

According to the plan, the donation program to support flood victims will be implemented by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phuoc Thanh commune in the whole commune until the end of November 2025./.
