Proposal to build a centralized wastewater treatment system at the industrial clusters of National Highway 9D and Dong Le

According to information from the People's Committee of Dong Ha City, in order to ensure management and attract investment projects to industrial clusters in accordance with regulations in the context of the city's budget difficulties, the People's Committee of the city has reported the needs and investment portfolio of technical infrastructure in industrial clusters.

Accordingly, for the project of Building Infrastructure for the National Highway 9D Industrial Cluster, currently, the demand for investment in production and business in the industrial cluster is increasing, while the industrial clusters in the area are basically full, new investment and expansion of the industrial cluster infrastructure to attract projects is extremely necessary.

Therefore, the City People's Committee requests the Provincial People's Committee to promptly consider supporting funding to continue investing in the infrastructure of the National Highway 9D Industrial Cluster (phase 2). At the same time, promptly arrange investment capital to build a centralized wastewater treatment system, an automatic and continuous wastewater monitoring station at the National Highway 9D Industrial Cluster and the Dong Le Industrial Cluster project.

It is known that in Dong Ha city, there are 3 industrial clusters in operation. Up to now, the total investment cost for infrastructure construction of industrial clusters is 52.849 billion VND, including: Dong Le Industrial Cluster 10.776 billion VND; Ward 4 Industrial Cluster (phase 1) 1.493 billion VND; National Highway 9D Industrial Cluster 40.58 billion VND. Dong Le Industrial Cluster has basically completed the technical infrastructure system such as traffic system, drainage system, power supply system, water supply for production and business, lighting system, fire fighting water system; Ward 4 Industrial Cluster (phase 1) has invested in traffic system, power supply, water supply for production, lighting system and surface drainage ditches along the road to the cluster.

The National Highway 9D Industrial Cluster has invested in completing technical infrastructure to attract investment projects with a scale of 9.7 ​​ha in phase 1. Due to the city's difficult budget conditions, currently the industrial clusters in the area have not invested in wastewater treatment facilities and automatic, continuous wastewater monitoring systems.
