Proposal to award the title of Meritorious Artisan in the field of intangible cultural heritage to 11 individuals

On the afternoon of May 6, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Hoang Tuan - Chairman of the Council for considering and awarding the titles of People's Artisan and Meritorious Artisan in the field of intangible cultural heritage of the province for the 4th time chaired a meeting to review the applications for the title of Meritorious Artisan.

Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Hoang Tuan - Chairman of the Council chaired the meeting.

The meeting was attended by members of the Review Board and prestigious experts with in-depth knowledge of intangible cultural heritage.

At the meeting, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism - the Standing Office of the Council reported on the results of the implementation of the plan to consider and award the title. Accordingly, among the 11 dossiers proposed for the title of Meritorious Artisan, there was 1 dossier in the field of folk knowledge and 10 dossiers in the field of folk performing arts.

Leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism reported on the results of the implementation of the title awarding plan.

Delegates attending the meeting contributed ideas, analyzed and voted to select individuals worthy of honor.

Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Hoang Tuan delivered a concluding speech at the meeting.

Concluding the meeting, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Hoang Tuan highly appreciated the sense of responsibility and active participation of the Council members and experts. At the same time, he requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to receive comments from Council members and experts; actively support individuals to complete the dossier as soon as possible, send it to the members of the Provincial Council for comments and votes to have a basis for implementing the next steps and send the dossier to the Ministerial Council on time, as required by regulations.
