Proposal to keep the name Dat Quang Magazine after merging the administrative units of Quang Nam

At the meeting, representatives of the leaders of the Quang Nam Literature and Arts Association and the Union of Literature and Arts Associations of Da Nang City informed about some basic contents related to the current organizational structure, operation situation, personnel... of the two units.

Accordingly, the Quang Nam Literature and Arts Association currently has 233 members (including 65 members of central professional associations), operating in 7 professional branches, including branches of literature, music , fine arts, photography, theater, folklore and literature and arts of ethnic minorities and mountainous areas.

The Union of Literature and Arts Associations of Da Nang City currently has more than 1,200 members (including 429 central members), operating in 9 specialized associations, including associations of writers, musicians, fine artists, art photographers, folk artists, dancers, stage and cinema artists and architects.

Based on the merger plan, the parties proposed to maintain the organizational structure of the two units. At the same time, select personnel to head the focal points/specialties under the Union of Literature and Arts Associations of Da Nang City (new) in a harmonious, reasonable, and inheritable manner, promoting the spirit of solidarity, creativity and long-term development.

After the merger, it is proposed to keep the name of Dat Quang Magazine as a monthly publication with a capacity of 150 pages/issue; continue to use the headquarters of the Literature and Arts Association of Quang Nam province (old) as a place to serve the creative activities and promote literary and artistic works in the southern region of the Union of Literature and Arts Associations of Da Nang City (new)...
