The first locality to give special permission for candidates to change their wishes after the 10th grade exam

This is the latest change in this year's exam in Nghe An . In previous years, candidates were only allowed to change their preferences after the schools announced the admission rates.

Candidates can only change their preferences to schools that organize entrance exams according to regulations.

The change of wishes is carried out according to the correct procedure, including: Students and parents go to the unit where the application was made to register to change their wishes. The Admissions Committee changes the wishes for candidates on the system, candidates and parents check and sign to confirm. After printing the change of wishes minutes, candidates are not allowed to change them again.

The time to change your preferences is from 7:00 a.m. on June 7 to 5:00 p.m. on June 10, which means right after the public 10th grade entrance exam in Nghe An ends (June 6). The Department of Education and Training notes that after this time, the system will not allow you to change your preferences.

Speaking to the press, Mr. Dao Cong Loi, Deputy Director of the Nghe An Department of Education and Training, said : "We put the interests of students first in creating conditions for them to change their wishes after taking the exam. The most important new point in the 10th grade entrance exam is that after finishing the exam, knowing the results of their test, listening to the opinions of teachers, parents, students have the right to change their wishes to enter the school. This is different from last year when they chose the school before taking the exam."

This year, the 10th grade entrance exam in Nghe An has nearly 39,000 registered students, held on June 5 and 6 at 72 testing locations across the province with three subjects: Math, Literature and Foreign Language.
