According to Engadget , since early Sunday morning (June 25) local time (US), Blizzard's online service Battle.net has become the target of a DDoS attack. This has made it difficult, or even impossible, to experience Diablo IV , World of Warcraft and other Blizzard titles.

Blizzard's customer support account later confirmed the attack via a Twitter post at 10:24 a.m. local time, saying: "We are constantly monitoring an ongoing DDoS attack that is affecting latency and connectivity to our games."
At around 12:30 p.m. ET, Blizzard said the issue had not yet been resolved. At that time, many players tried to log into Diablo IV , but were only able to play for a short time before being disconnected. Other players on Reddit also said they were unable to access Blizzard's hit title for at least 10 to 12 hours.

Finally, at around 1:18 p.m. local time, Blizzard said the DDoS attacks had ended. If players are still unable to launch their games, the company recommends following the troubleshooting steps posted on its website.
