The school uses only one admission method, which is to consider the results of the high school graduation exam. Candidates register and take the 2023 high school graduation exam according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training . Candidates applying for admission to the military university system must pass the preliminary selection and meet the standards prescribed by the Ministry of National Defense (young people outside the Army must be pre-selected at the Military Admission Board at the district, town, city level under the province, active soldiers must be pre-selected at the Military Admission Board at the regimental level and equivalent).

After receiving the results of the high school graduation exam, candidates who have submitted their preliminary application to the school can adjust their admission wishes (first wish) in the group of schools including: Logistics Academy, Naval Academy, Border Academy, Air Defense - Air Force Academy (Command and Staff system) and officer schools: Army 1, Army 2, Politics , Artillery, Armored, Chemical, Information, Engineering according to the correct region and admission objects.
