Vung Tau High School has a quota of 732 students, the number of candidates passing the exam to this school is 729. The school has no students registering for the second choice.

According to the Department of Education and Training of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, two students, Nguyen Thi Thanh Huyen (Nguyen Hue Secondary School, Long Dien District) and Chung Bich Ngoc (Huynh Khuong Ninh Secondary School, Vung Tau City) achieved high exam scores, 46.25 points and 46 points respectively (based on total admission scores).

Previously, the 10th grade entrance exam in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province for the 2023-2024 school year took place from June 5-7, with more than 15,000 candidates taking the exam.

Immediately after the 10th grade exam scores are announced, students can submit a request for review (if they wish) at the high school they registered for the entrance exam before 4:30 p.m. on July 2.
