The Admissions Council of the International University - VNU-HCM has just announced the minimum scores for training programs based on the admission method using the results of the competency assessment exam (ĐGNL) and the admission method using the results of the high school graduation exam.
In 2025, the International University will enroll 2,000 students with 3 methods: Direct admission, admission based on the results of the National High School Exam and the results of the High School Graduation Exam.
In which, the minimum score for English language majors (programs granted by the university and programs in association with foreign universities) is calculated on a 40-point scale (English subject score is doubled).
The minimum score for the business - management - economics group (programs granted by the university and programs in conjunction with foreign universities) is calculated on a 35-point scale (English subject score is multiplied by a coefficient of 1.5).
The minimum scores for the majors of mathematics - information technology, life sciences and chemistry, and engineering (programs with degrees granted by the International University and programs in collaboration with foreign universities) are calculated on a 30-point scale.
This year, the highest minimum score for admission based on the high school graduation exam results of the International University is 24 points in the English language major (a program with a degree granted by the school).
The minimum admission score based on the results of the National High School Graduation Exam is 700/1200 points for the group of mathematics - information technology majors (programs with degrees granted by the school), including information technology, computer science, data science, applied mathematics, statistics; the group of mathematics - information technology majors (programs in conjunction with foreign universities), including information technology and computer science.

Previously, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology - Ho Chi Minh City National University announced the minimum score for the comprehensive admission method is 50 points (on a 100-point scale).
The University of Natural Sciences - VNU-HCM announced the floor score of 16-24 points for the high school graduation exam score method. For the National High School Graduation Exam score method, the floor score ranges from 600-850 points.
