On May 28, in Hai Phong, the Hai Phong City People's Committee coordinated with the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) to organize the 5th regional logistics forum with the theme Digital transformation - New driving force to promote growth in the Red River Delta - Hai Phong. Comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and representatives of some provincial departments and branches attended the forum.

At the forum, leaders of ministries, branches, localities in the Red River Delta, international and Vietnamese economic experts, together with investment funds, corporations, and enterprises discussed and gave independent, multi-dimensional assessments on the logistics development orientation of the Red River Delta as well as Hai Phong city; identified bottlenecks in logistics digital transformation and proposed solutions; assessed the trend of logistics digital transformation from international lessons combined with appropriate practices in the conditions of the Vietnamese logistics industry in general and the Red River Delta in particular in relation to the development context of the region and the world.

The forum also mentioned and analyzed Vietnam's current mechanisms and policies to facilitate and promote the implementation of digital transformation in the logistics industry to create new growth momentum; proposed solutions to promote digital transformation in the logistics industry towards regional linkage, taking advantage of advantages and development opportunities commensurate with potential; the participation in exchanges and feedback from representatives of departments, ministries and branches will help businesses fully grasp, verify information and decide on appropriate development orientations... to effectively exploit investment resources, facilities, support services, cut costs and enhance competitiveness for logistics enterprises and import-export enterprises.
