Over the past weekend, the Corporation has directed its member units to closely monitor the weather situation and strictly implement the disaster prevention and control and search and rescue (PCTT&TKCN) plan. Units must ensure adequate preparation of human resources, materials, means and equipment to respond to and quickly overcome the consequences that storms may cause. At the same time, Power Companies and hydropower plants under their management need to urgently inspect and reinforce power grid systems, warehouses, lakes, dams and develop plans to protect the safety of equipment and people, especially in areas at high risk of flooding and landslides.
EVNNPC requires units to provide adequate means and labor protection equipment for direct workers. When moving through rivers, streams, low-lying or flooded areas, workers must wear life jackets and must not be subjective to avoid unfortunate incidents such as drowning and work accidents. Means of transport, machinery and construction equipment must have absolute safety measures to prevent dangerous situations such as cars, motorbikes and equipment being flooded, sunk or swept away during operation.

In particular, EVNNPC requires that after the organizational merger, the units must urgently review and consolidate the PCTT&TKCN Command Board, and at the same time rebuild the PCTT&TKCN plan in accordance with the new organizational model. The units' incident and disaster response teams must be maintained on a permanent basis, ready to act promptly and effectively in all situations that arise.
For projects under construction, the Corporation directs units to immediately deploy measures to ensure safety for workers and assets on the construction site, and to fully review property and construction insurance records. The completion of the PCTT&TKCN apparatus and the establishment of a response team at the scene must also be completed. These forces need to be appropriately deployed to ensure effectiveness when unusual situations occur.
On July 20 (Sunday) and the morning of July 21, the working delegations of the Corporation led by the Leaders in charge of Technical and Safety work and members of the Corporation's PCTT & TKCN Command Board directly inspected the field in localities such as Hung Yen, Ninh Binh, Quang Ninh, Hai Phong to record the situation and check the readiness level of the units before the storm makes landfall.
