Dinh Tan clearly identifies potential for development

After the merger, the area and population of Dinh Tan commune increased many times, opening up space and motivation for a new development phase. The first Party Congress of the commune, term 2025-2030, determined the long-term vision, orientation, and proposed solutions to unleash the new development potential of the locality for effective exploitation.

Leaders of Dinh Tan commune visited the tray-shaped rice production model of Mr. Bui Van Toan - a pioneer farmer in applying technology to agricultural production.

Dinh Tan inherits the achievements in building new rural areas from the old communes. Of which, 2 communes have achieved model new rural areas, 1 commune has achieved advanced new rural areas and 1 commune has completed 19/19 criteria of advanced new rural areas; there are 6 3-star OCOP products. Many works and infrastructures have been invested and newly built, contributing to promoting socio -economic development. Especially, the strength of solidarity within the Party, consensus among the People; the capacity and experience of leadership and direction of Party committees and authorities at all levels have been accumulated and supplemented, the team of cadres, civil servants and public employees have increasingly improved their professional qualifications and professional ethics, meeting the requirements of new tasks. The large land area can be planned for residential, commercial, production and service areas in accordance with the urbanization orientation. In the commune, there are 3 new large-scale industrial projects, 127 enterprises and key products such as garments, handbags, construction materials production, pig farming, fruit tree planting, aquaculture... and new industries such as electronic components production, manufacturing of agricultural machinery products. The commune is also located near major traffic routes, convenient for trade, service development, investment attraction...

With the above potentials, the Resolution of the 1st Commune Party Congress set out 3 key tasks, 3 breakthroughs, 11 economic targets, 8 socio-cultural targets, 3 environmental targets, 1 national defense and security target and 2 targets on Party building; striving to become a model commune of the province by 2030. To achieve this goal, the Commune Party Executive Committee has built an Action Program to implement the resolution, which is one of the important contents, notably: Strongly innovating the leadership methods of Party committees at all levels; focusing on developing large-scale agriculture, applying high technology towards green agriculture, circular agriculture associated with the National Target Program on New Rural Development; continuing to invest in synchronous construction of infrastructure, especially transport, urban and technological infrastructure to serve the digital transformation process; Promote administrative procedure reform, apply information technology and digital technology in leadership, management, operation and work resolution, serve people and businesses better and better; build a team of cadres with adequate qualities, qualifications, capacity, prestige, dare to think, dare to do, dare to take responsibility, dare to innovate and dare to face difficulties and challenges.

In economic development, the commune is reviewing existing economic models, evaluating their effectiveness and prioritizing the expansion of areas of high-value crops with stable markets, such as egg-laying ducks, pumpkins for seeds, pothos... Coordinating the production of carbon-credit rice on a scale of more than 1,000 hectares; reviewing and upgrading the criteria for new rural development; developing livestock farming towards concentrated farms, applying high technology along the value chain. In the field of culture and society, the commune focuses on promoting digital transformation, building smart villages; developing and improving education and training at 3 levels; paying attention to people's health care, improving the quality of medical services; fully and promptly implementing social security policies...
