(QNO) - This morning, April 9, during a working trip to the southern provinces of Laos, a high-ranking delegation of Quang Nam province led by Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Le Van Dung visited officers and employees of Friendship Company 206 (under Military Region 5) stationed in Champasak province.

During the visit, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Van Dung sent greetings and encouragement to the staff of Friendship Company 206; at the same time, emphasizing that with the political mission of the unit, the cooperative and friendly relationship between Vietnam - Laos in general and Quang Nam with the southern Lao provinces in particular will have many new changes and become increasingly deeper.

According to comrade Le Van Dung, in recent times, Quang Nam has always closely coordinated with units of Military Region 5; the connection between localities and units in the province has also been quite favorable, especially in political tasks, national defense - security and socio -economic development. Especially in the work of natural disaster prevention, rescue, and participation in mass mobilization work among the people, remarkable results have been achieved.

With the role of carrying out political tasks in Southern Laos, comrade Le Van Dung hopes that the officers and employees of Friendship Company 206 will continue to promote the sense of responsibility assigned by their superiors, especially in supporting and helping people in the border villages of Laos, creating an increasingly close and close friendship.

At the same time, it acts as a bridge to promote investment and upgrade the route from Sekong province to the international border gate of Dak Ta Ooc - Nam Giang along the East-West Economic Corridor, contributing to the socio-economic development goal between the two localities of Quang Nam - Sekong in particular and Vietnam - Laos in general.
