Petrovietnam monitoring delegation works at BSR

Leading the delegation were Mr. Bui Minh Tien - Member of the Board of Directors of Petrovietnam ; Mr. Le Xuan Huyen - Deputy General Director of Petrovietnam and representatives of the Group's professional departments. On the side of BSR, there were Mr. Bui Ngoc Duong - Chairman of the Board of Directors; Mr. Nguyen Viet Thang - General Director; along with members of the Board of Directors, Board of Directors, Factory Board of Directors and representatives of functional departments.

Reporting to the working delegation, BSR General Director Nguyen Viet Thang said: In the first 10 months of 2025, BSR's production and business targets all exceeded the plan. Specifically, production output reached 6.57 million tons, equivalent to 110% of the production and business plan and 101% of the management plan, with the whole year expected to reach about 7.3 million tons. Accumulated in 10 months, revenue reached about 117.9 trillion VND; pre-tax profit was 2.79 trillion VND, after-tax profit was 2.41 trillion VND, all higher than the yearly plan and the State budget contribution reached 11,906 billion VND.

The above results show the outstanding efficiency in management, operation and cost optimization of BSR. The unit has operated Dung Quat Refinery safely, stably, effectively and taken advantage of market opportunities to increase capacity and optimize products. This is considered one of the bases for completing and exceeding the set plan, creating a solid foundation for the new development stage.

In 2026, BSR has set a target of stable and sustainable growth on all three pillars: output, finance and development investment. BSR's 5-year plan for 2026 - 2030 is built towards maintaining safe and stable plant operations, optimizing performance, improving productivity and increasing value for the company.

BSR General Director Nguyen Viet Thang reported on BSR's production and business situation from the beginning of the year until now with many targets exceeding the set plan.

In the period of 2026 - 2030, BSR will promote investment, focusing on projects of product diversification, green transformation and digital transformation. In particular, completing the Dung Quat Refinery Upgrade and Expansion Project in 2028. This will be an important foundation for the enterprise to improve its competitiveness, develop sustainably and affirm its leading position in the energy and petrochemical industry in Vietnam.

At the meeting, Mr. Bui Ngoc Duong - Chairman of the Board of Directors of BSR added that BSR is currently making efforts to control the progress of investment projects, especially the progress of the Dung Quat NMLD NCMR Project. At the same time, the unit is also focusing on restructuring in a streamlined direction, in line with the next stages of development. Promoting scientific research, innovation, comprehensive digital transformation; implementing investment projects, developing circular economy , increasing output of new products, green products, environmentally friendly. For example, Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) products, E10 RON95 biofuel are being researched to increase production output, meeting market demand. In particular, BSR always ensures that the Factory operates safely and stably at optimal capacity. Thereby, striving to complete and exceed the production and business plans set for 2025.

In his speech, Mr. Le Xuan Huyen - Deputy General Director of Petrovietnam shared the Group's revenue growth plan and targets in the coming time. At the same time, he emphasized that BSR needs to focus on financial management and cash flow. In particular, it is necessary to optimize the management and use of capital to increase financial efficiency. At the same time, it is necessary to pay attention to the impacts of foreign exchange rate fluctuations in investment projects to have effective management solutions. For the Dung Quat Refinery Upgrade and Expansion Project, it is necessary to carefully study and have specific solutions to ensure effective implementation. At the same time, BSR also needs to clearly define the direction of new product production, research and development of environmentally friendly material products, in line with the green transformation trend.

Concluding the meeting, Mr. Bui Minh Tien - Member of the Board of Directors of Petrovietnam acknowledged and highly appreciated the results that BSR has achieved since the beginning of the year. Regarding the production and business plan in the next stages, Mr. Bui Minh Tien suggested that BSR should clearly plan a 5-year plan. In particular, focusing on the Dung Quat Refinery NCMR Project to ensure the set progress. At the same time, research to expand the market, business and develop new products with specific plans, suitable for each stage of the unit. At the same time, continue to optimally manage finances, improve operational efficiency and accelerate investment progress in potential projects. In particular, BSR needs to continue to develop science and technology, innovate, digitalize and increase the proportion of revenue from new products and expand international business.

Regarding BSR's recommendations, the Group's leaders and functional departments have taken note, studied and considered appropriate solutions to remove difficulties and promote production and business development. The Group will continue to support BSR in coordinating with relevant agencies and localities in implementing investment projects, developing markets, expanding international business and other production and business activities.
