On the evening of November 9, at December 25 Square, Binh Lieu town, a performance space took place to introduce the folk culture of the Dao Thanh Phan ethnic group.
The Dao Thanh Phan ethnic group is one of the ethnic groups living in Binh Lieu district. The Dao Thanh Phan people still preserve the unique culture, customs, habits, and cuisine of their ethnic group.
In the space of the Dao Thanh Phan ethnic cultural performance, people and tourists can learn about the culture, customs and practices through the following performances: Reenacting the wedding procession of the Dao Thanh Phan people; the cap sac ceremony, ha pa dung, and embroidering patterns and motifs on the hems and hems of the Dao people. At the same time, people and tourists can also experience the Dao Thanh Phan market; enjoy pork cooked with ginger; experience foot soaking in leaves; experience games such as stilt walking, bamboo pole dancing, folk dancing, etc.
Through the performance space, introducing the folk culture of the Dao Thanh Phan ethnic group to honor and promote unique cultural values to a large number of people and tourists. At the same time, encouraging and motivating artisans and ethnic people to raise awareness and responsibility in preserving and promoting the traditional cultural values of ethnic minority communities in the district, creating a premise for the formation of cultural experience tourism products in Binh Lieu; creating a good impression and attractiveness to attract tourists to Binh Lieu district, creating opportunities for tourism businesses to learn, expand the market, build new and unique tourism products. This is also a practical activity in the Cultural Tourism Week of Binh Lieu district in 2024; an activity towards the 105th anniversary of the establishment of Binh Lieu district (December 26, 1919 - December 26, 2024).
