Dialogue with 26 households about site clearance for the Nguyen Trai bridge construction project

The undelivered land of the two apartment buildings at 8 May To and 6 Nguyen Trai, involving 26 households, is directly affecting the project's progress.

On the morning of October 22, the Land Reclamation Enforcement Board of Ngo Quyen Ward organized a dialogue and mobilized 26 households in the apartment building area at 8 May To and 6 Nguyen Trai to hand over the land to implement the Nguyen Trai Bridge construction investment project and urban beautification of the surrounding area.

18/26 households attended the dialogue.

At the dialogue, the representative of the People's Committee of Ngo Quyen Ward informed the households about the conclusion of the Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Anh Quan at the meeting on October 20 on the progress of implementing the decision to reclaim land from 26 households to implement the project.

People made recommendations at the dialogue.

The compensation, support and resettlement plan when the state reclaims land to implement the project for households in the area of ​​8 May To and 6 Nguyen Trai is in accordance with the law, applying maximum mechanisms and policies, ensuring the legitimate rights of the people and having fully implemented the procedures.

To ensure the progress of the project, the Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee assigned the People's Committee of Ngo Quyen Ward to continue to propagate and mobilize households to agree to receive compensation and support money, and hand over the land to implement the project. In case households do not agree to hand over the land, urgently organize enforcement to implement the land recovery decision according to the authority and provisions of the law.

The Ngo Quyen Ward Land Reclamation Enforcement Board continues to listen to and accept requests from households regarding resettlement arrangements with houses or land at the resettlement area 226 Le Lai.

The leader of the People's Committee of Ngo Quyen Ward said that the city creates conditions for people to buy houses that are public property. The People's Committee of the city is building procedures and determining the selling price of apartments that are public property according to regulations, so there is not enough basis to immediately sell state-owned houses to households.

After completing the above content, the City People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction to preside with the People's Committee of Ngo Quyen Ward to resolve the petition on selling state-owned houses to households according to regulations.

To ensure the project's progress, the leader of Ngo Quyen Ward People's Committee requested that households immediately carry out procedures to rent state-owned houses and hand over assets within the project's recovery boundary.

Representatives of the People's Committee of Ngo Quyen ward informed the people about the city's policies related to the recommendations of the households.

The Ngo Quyen Ward Land Reclamation Committee requested the remaining 26 households to promptly agree and comply with the handover of the land to ensure the progress of the project and limit the need for forced land reclamation. The city will not consider selling state-owned houses to households subject to forced land reclamation.
