At the working session, Major General Le Quang Nhan - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Director of Gia Lai Provincial Police Department respectfully welcomed the working delegation of the Police of the two neighboring provinces; at the same time, evaluated the results of the coordination work to ensure security and order between Gia Lai Provincial Police and the Police of the two provinces of Ratanakiri and Stung Treng in the past time.
On the basis of the good friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Cambodia, as well as between Gia Lai province and other provinces, Gia Lai Provincial Police and the Police of Ratanakiri and Stung Treng provinces have maintained close coordination in ensuring security and order.
Police of border communes always keep in touch, exchange information and situations related to security and order, especially activities of cross-border crimes that risk affecting public order and national defense and security.
Incidents that occurred were promptly resolved by coordination mechanisms, and the activities of many types of crimes were effectively prevented and suppressed. Notably, the crime of brokering people to Cambodia to do "easy work with high salaries" to participate in fraud, human trafficking, drug trafficking and drug precursors, weapons and explosives trafficking, etc. were effectively prevented and stopped.
Security and order situation in the border area is increasingly stable and maintained, contributing to effectively serving the socio -economic development tasks of the three provinces of Gia Lai, Ratanakiri and Stung Treng, bringing an increasingly prosperous and peaceful life to the people of the two countries.
In a friendly and open atmosphere, leaders of Gia Lai Provincial Police and the Police of Ratanakiri and Stung Treng provinces exchanged, shared and deepened the close and effective cooperation relationship in the spirit of solidarity and friendship.
At the same time, it was agreed to continue to strengthen more specific and practical measures in coordination to help each other successfully complete the task of protecting security and order in the area and keeping the border area peaceful.
