The Vietnamese women's football team still went to the field to practice as usual, a day after the impressive friendly match against the world's second-ranked team, Germany. With the time until the World Cup is getting shorter and shorter, coach Mai Duc Chung always ensures a regular training schedule for his players.
As planned, on the afternoon of June 26 (Germany time), the Vietnamese women's team will move to Frankfurt International Airport to take a flight back to Vietnam, expected to arrive in Hanoi at 12:15 on June 27.

Before leaving for home, coach Mai Duc Chung and his team returned to the training ground to maintain their best training and competition condition for the upcoming biggest women's football tournament on the planet. During this training session, the weather was relatively hot but the players still tried their best to complete the endurance and coordination exercises set by the coaching staff.
In an interview with the press before the training session, goalkeeper Kim Thanh shared that facing the world's top opponents like the German team will be an opportunity for this female goalkeeper to learn a lot of experience and increase her confidence when entering the 2023 Women's World Cup. Facing a tall opponent and conceding the first goal about 2 minutes after the opening whistle, Kim Thanh was a bit worried... However, after that, the whole team tried very hard, united and confident, so the more they played, the more excited they felt. The defense of the Vietnamese women's team was very resilient and determined.
Midfielder Thanh Nha, who scored the consolation goal for the Vietnamese women's team, shared her joy, honor and happiness. She emphasized that the goal was not only hers but also the result of the whole team's efforts. According to Thanh Nha, there are still certain differences between the Vietnamese and German teams, but that did not mean that Coach Mai Duc Chung's players gave up.
