The CAND team won 3 gold medals at the 2025 National Shooting Team Championship

The tournament was held from May 15 to May 26 at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Sports and Physical Education - National Sports Training Center, with the participation of 12 shooting teams from 12 provinces, cities and the Public Security and People's Army forces.

After 11 days of competition, the CAND team ranked 4th overall. Specifically: 3 Gold Medals in the categories (10m air pistol for women, 10m air pistol for women's team, 50m pistol for men); 5 Silver Medals in the categories (50m air pistol for men, 10m air pistol for men, 25m air pistol for women, 3-position rifle for men).

Shooting is a growing sport in the country. Vietnam has had many athletes achieve high results in Southeast Asian, continental and world championships. Shooting, as well as air gun shooting, is the foundation for building physical discipline, increasing strength and endurance; while also strengthening hand-eye coordination and better motor skills.

The CAND shooting team was awarded high prizes in a number of events.

The 2025 National Shooting Championship is an opportunity for athletes to compete and affirm their position; experts discover and add athletes with excellent achievements to the national team, participating in international competitions in the coming time.
