The women's team is practicing hard.

According to the plan, the team will have two internal friendly matches with Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club - the team is also currently training at the Center to prepare for the 2025/26 Asian Women's Club Championship - on November 1 and November 4.

This is considered an important opportunity for the coaching staff to evaluate the coordination ability, tactical effectiveness and performance of each position before entering the international training period.

This training session is crucial in the team’s preparation journey. The players are maintaining a high level of physical activity, combining endurance, speed and flexibility in ball handling. Coach Mai Duc Chung has focused on training the team both physically and mentally, helping them adapt well to the high intensity of the SEA Games.

The weather conditions in Hanoi in late October are considered quite favorable, with an average temperature of around 20°C, creating ideal conditions for training. The atmosphere on the field is always exciting, the players show determination and high concentration in every exercise, from warm-up to tactical coordination situations.

The autumn weather in Hanoi helps players practice more enthusiastically.

Defender Tran Thi Thu said: “The training volume this time is higher than before, so the whole team has made clear progress in terms of physical strength and technique. Every day there are new exercises, helping us to be excited and adapt faster. Coach Mai Duc Chung always emphasizes that the group stage at the SEA Games is very difficult, so the whole team must prepare very carefully. The young players are progressing quickly and everyone has the opportunity to play if they perform well.”

Meanwhile, young midfielder Ngoc Minh Chuyen, 21 years old, expressed his determination: “This is an opportunity for me to learn from my seniors. In the national team, we are trained very carefully in physical strength and tactics. Coach Chung always reminds us that Southeast Asian players who want to reach new heights must focus on physical strength, professional training and discipline. I will try my best to adapt better to contribute to the team in the future.”

Today's active training will be a good preparation for the upcoming journey at SEA Games 33 of the "golden" girls of Vietnam.

Currently, the team is entering the tactical development phase, with exercises to improve small group coordination, pressing and quick transitions. The combination of experienced players and young players creates a healthy competitive atmosphere, helping the team maintain positive energy in each training session.

According to the plan, after the friendly matches in early November, the Vietnamese women's team will have a training trip to Japan from November 20 to 30, where the team will compete with the top women's clubs in the land of cherry blossoms. Before leaving, coach Mai Duc Chung plans to arrange one or two more practice matches to check the team's tactical ability and physical condition.

With a spirit of discipline, a desire to contribute and a clear goal, the national women's team is showing its readiness in terms of physical strength, technique - tactics, and mentality for the journey to defend its achievements at the 33rd SEA Games and towards further goals in 2026 - a pivotal year in the preparation cycle for major regional and continental tournaments.
