The District Forest Protection Department manages and protects over 67,700 hectares of forest, with a forest coverage rate of 43.7%. In 2024-2025, the Party cell registered a model of scattered tree planting in Bo Muoi commune and the breakthrough content is to implement land allocation, forest allocation and issuance of forestry land use right certificates for forest areas managed by the People's Committee at the commune level. The Party cell assigned specific tasks to cadres in charge of the area to implement the model of scattered tree planting. The district coordinated with local authorities to review locations, register tree types; coordinated with functional units to receive and hand over sufficient quantity and ensure the quality of the trees. As a result, people in the commune planted 12,000 scattered trees, mainly black canarium, giổi, sầu, lát hoa, and teak.

Regarding the content of land allocation, forest allocation, and granting of forestry land use right certificates in the communes of Bo Muoi, Bon Phang, Chieng Bom, Chieng La, Chieng Pac, Muong E, Muong Khieng, Nam Lau, Nong Lay, Phong Lai, Pung Tra, Tong Co, the District Staff Office issued a decision approving the budget outline; contractor selection plan; posting documents, approving the list of project contractors according to regulations.

In charge of Long He and Co Ma communes, Mr. Luong Van Thi, an officer of Thuan Chau District Forest Protection Department, shared: We follow the motto of "3 attachments" including: attachment to the government, attachment to the forest, attachment to the people to perform our duties. At the same time, we always propagate and disseminate the law to the people, thereby raising people's awareness of forest protection.

The Party cell focused on leading and directing the unit to organize 185 meetings for cadres to go to the grassroots to meet with people, and propagate the Forestry Law to over 18,000 people. Organized the signing of forest protection commitments to all people; nearly 14,000 households signed commitments with village chiefs and residential group leaders on forest protection. Coordinated forest patrols and inspections over 6,000 times, detected and handled 112 cases of Forestry Law violations.

Studying and following Uncle Ho motivates each cadre and party member of Thuan Chau Forest Protection Department to always unite, promote internal strength to overcome difficulties, and preserve the green color of the forests.
