The Lak Lake Road Project, from Yang Tao - Dak Lieng inter-commune road to Bhok village, Yang Tao commune (collectively referred to as the Lak Lake Road Project) was approved for investment by the People's Committee of Lak district in Decision No. 1391/QD-UBND, dated April 22, 2024.
The project is over 3.5 km long, passing through Yang Tao commune, invested by the Lak District Construction Investment Project Management Board, and Yang Tao Commune People's Committee carries out site clearance (GPMB). The project has a total investment of 17.8 billion VND, notably this project does not have compensation and GPMB costs.
Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Yang Tao Commune Y Wu Sruk, Head of the Propaganda and Mobilization Team for Projects, said that in order for this project to be implemented, mass mobilization work is identified as the most important solution to create high consensus among the people.
The propaganda and mobilization team for land clearance of the Lak Lake coastal road project explained the goal of opening the road for the people. |
With the motto "easy to do first, difficult to do later", "party members go first, the country follows", arousing the spirit of community, volunteerism, and self-awareness of each citizen, members of the Propaganda and Mobilization Team did not hesitate day and night, rain or shine to go to each household to explain the importance of the project so that people know and understand.
In Cuor Tak village - where there are still many poor and near-poor households, the implementation of the Lak Lake Coastal Road Project has created a mark for the land donation movement. Cuor Tak village has more than 400 households, including 84 poor households and 89 near-poor households, but most of the people highly agree with donating land for road construction.
Recalling the initial stage of propagating to each household, Mr. Y Dham Sruk, Deputy Head of Cuor Tak village, Yang Tao commune, shared that when implementing the Lak Lake Road Project, Cuor Tak village had 22 households subject to land acquisition. Initially, when they did not fully understand the benefits of expanding the road, some people still hesitated to hand over their land for the state to implement the project. Those concerns were inevitable, the decision to donate land was not easy for any family or individual. Because each meter of land is not only a valuable asset but also a place that has been associated with the production activities of the people for generations. However, when listening to the explanation of the village's Self-Management Committee and the Commune's Propaganda and Land Acquisition Team, most people agreed and supported.
As one of the pioneer households donating land to open a road in Cuor Tak village, Mr. Y Khim Teh confided that his family has more than 1 sao of rice land along Lak Lake.
To implement the Lak Lake Road Project, his family had about 100 square meters of land confiscated. According to him, his family lost a part of their land, but in return, the whole village and neighboring villages will have a spacious, well-maintained road, convenient for traveling and transporting fertilizers and agricultural products.
Having witnessed for many years the scene of people and vehicles struggling to travel on the muddy road in the rainy season and the dusty road in the dry season, he only hopes that all households along the route will support the road construction policy so that the project can be accelerated.
Thanks to the consensus of the people, the road along Lak Lake through Yang Tao commune has been leveled. |
Similarly, Ms. H'Bé Kuan's family (in Bhôk village) voluntarily donated about 1,000 m2 of land currently cultivating rice, vegetables and perennial trees to build a road along the lake. Ms. H'Bé said that building a road is a common task, and her family is always willing to sacrifice a little bit of their own personal interests for the common benefit of the whole village and commune. The road is widened and concreted, not only her generation but also her children and grandchildren will benefit. She feels very happy because her family has contributed a small, useful thing to help the government build the road.
Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Yang Tao Commune, Y Wu Sruk, emphasized that the story of people voluntarily donating land to expand the road in the commune has contributed to spreading beautiful actions, for the sake of community responsibility. The expanded road will open up new livelihoods, helping people's lives become more stable, and the results achieved will also contribute to accelerating the process of building new rural areas in the locality.
In particular, the project contributes to improving the environmental landscape, creating conditions for traditional craft villages along Lak Lake in Yang Tao Commune to become one of the must-see destinations when experiencing tourism products. From there, it creates momentum for developing community tourism, shifting the industry structure, creating jobs, increasing income for local people, and promoting socio -economic development.
