Today's coffee prices were updated at 4:30 a.m. on November 12, 2024 as follows, according to www.giacaphe.com, today's domestic coffee prices are in the range of 106,500-107,200 VND/kg, stable compared to yesterday. Currently, the average purchase price in the Central Highlands provinces is 107,100 VND/kg, the highest purchase price in Dak Nong province is 107,200 VND/kg.
Specifically, the coffee purchase price in Gia Lai province (Chu Prong) is 107,000 VND, in Pleiku and La Grai the price is 106,900 VND/kg; in Kon Tum province the price is 107,000 VND/kg; in Dak Nong province the coffee is purchased at the highest price of 107,200 VND/kg.
The price of green coffee beans (coffee beans, fresh coffee beans) in Lam Dong province in districts such as Bao Loc, Di Linh, Lam Ha, coffee is purchased at 106,500 VND/kg.
Domestic coffee prices (November 12) in Dak Lak province; in Cu M'gar district, coffee was purchased at about 107,000 VND/kg and in Ea H'leo district, Buon Ho town, it was purchased at the same price of 106,900 VND/kg.

At the end of the trading session, the price of Robusta coffee on the London floor on November 12, 2024 at 4:30 a.m. increased to 4,289 - 4,476 USD/ton. Specifically, the delivery period for January 2025 is 4,476 USD/ton (up 100 USD/ton); the delivery period for March 2025 is 4,412 USD/ton (up 94 USD/ton); the delivery period for May 2025 is 4,358 USD/ton (up 95 USD/ton) and the delivery period for July 2025 is 4,289 USD/ton (up 106 USD/ton).

Arabica coffee prices on the New York floor on the morning of November 12, 2024 increased from 251.90 - 256.20 cents/lb. Specifically, the delivery period for December 2024 is 256.20 cents/lb (up 1.12%); the delivery period for March 2025 is 255.85 cents/lb (up 1.09%); the delivery period for May 2025 is 254.50 cents/lb (up 1.07%) and the delivery period for July 2025 is 251.90 cents/lb (up 1.04%).

The price of Brazilian Arabica coffee increased on the morning of November 12, 2024. Specifically, the delivery period for December 2024 is 315.50 USD/ton (up 1.54%); the delivery period for March 2025 is 314.80 USD/ton (up 1.55%); the delivery period for May 2025 is 312.45 USD/ton (up 1.15%) and the delivery period for July 2025 is 308.90 USD/ton (up 1.13%).
Robusta coffee traded on the ICE Futures Europe (London exchange) opens at 16:00 and closes at 00:30 (next day), Vietnam time.
Arabica coffee on the ICE Futures US floor (New York floor) opens at 16:15 and closes at 01:30 (next day), Vietnam time.
For Arabica coffee traded on the B3 Brazil floor, it will be open from 19:00 – 02:35 (next day), Vietnam time.
Coffee prices rose across the board today on both derivatives exchanges, with Arabica coffee prices rising slightly due to the prospect of continued hot and dry conditions in Minas Gerais state – Brazil’s largest Arabica coffee producing region. This could limit coffee productivity, leading to lower coffee output.
Additionally, Robusta coffee prices rose on Monday after the General Department of Vietnam Customs reported that Vietnam’s coffee exports in October fell 11.6 percent month-on-month to 45,412 tons and Vietnam’s coffee exports in the first 10 months fell 11.1 percent year-on-year to 1.15 million tons.
According to the European-American Market Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade), in the first 9 months of the year, coffee was Vietnam's main agricultural export product to the EU, reaching 431,231 tons, worth 1.63 billion USD. Compared to the same period last year, the export of this item decreased by 8.1% in volume but increased by 47.8% in value thanks to high prices.
Accordingly, coffee accounts for 58.7% of Vietnam's total agricultural export turnover to the European Union (EU) market. At the same time, the EU is also our country's largest coffee consuming market, accounting for 39% of total volume and 38% of export turnover.
Vietnam's coffee export price to the EU market in the first 9 months reached an average of 3,793 USD/ton, up 60.8% over the same period last year.
According to the General Department of Customs, processed coffee exports to the EU increased by 81.4% over the same period last year, nearly double the increase of robusta and arabica coffee beans, reaching 193.3 million USD, accounting for 11.8% of Vietnam's total coffee export turnover to the EU.
With the implementation of the EVFTA, the EU has eliminated taxes on all unroasted or roasted coffee products (reduced from 7-11% to 0%), processed coffee from 9-12% to 0% when the Agreement comes into effect from August 1, 2020.
