Dong Nai: It is expected that 8 groups of people will be supported to pay 100% of health insurance.

(DN) - On the afternoon of November 10, information from the Department of Health of Dong Nai province, the unit has drafted a Resolution regulating the level of support for health insurance contributions for a number of subjects in Dong Nai province for the period 2026-2030.

According to the draft resolution, the subjects that will be supported with 100% of the health insurance premium include: People from poor and near-poor households according to the province's poverty line; ethnic minorities with permanent or temporary residence in border communes, communes in region I of Dong Nai province according to regulations of the Prime Minister and competent authorities; people with serious illnesses according to regulations of the Government; people from 70 years old to under 75 years old (excluding subjects from poor and near-poor households) with permanent or temporary residence in communes in region I of Dong Nai province according to regulations of the Prime Minister.

In addition, the following subjects: Workers whose unemployment benefits have expired for more than 3 months and have not re-joined health insurance until they find a new job and participate in compulsory social insurance or receive one-time social insurance benefits; homeless people and beggars in Dong Nai province who are being concentrated in public social assistance facilities managed by the health sector while waiting to be returned to their place of residence; people in households that have escaped poverty according to the province's multidimensional poverty standards within 24 months from the date of the decision to recognize their escape from poverty; collaborators doing population work are also supported by the state with 100% of their health insurance contributions.

In addition, the state budget plans to support 70% of health insurance premiums for people in agricultural , forestry, and fishery households with average living standards according to the Central Government's standards for households with average living standards.

Support 50% of health insurance premiums for the following subjects: Students with disabilities studying in integrated education institutions in the province and students at the Center for Supporting the Development of Inclusive Education in Dong Nai province; students studying at educational institutions located in border communes, communes in Region I of ethnic minority and mountainous areas of Dong Nai province according to regulations of the Prime Minister and competent authorities; people in households working in agriculture, forestry, and fishery with an average living standard according to the regulations on households with an average living standard of the province; village health workers; village midwives; victims according to the regulations of the Law on Prevention and Control of Human Trafficking; people in households escaping near-poverty according to the Central multidimensional poverty standards within 24 months from the date of the decision to recognize poverty escape.

Subjects supported with 30% of health insurance premiums include: People belonging to near-poor households according to the Central standard; people belonging to households escaping poverty according to the Central multidimensional poverty standards within 36 months from the date of the decision to recognize poverty escape.
