Tourists line up to go up Son Tra mountain to escape the heat of over 40 degrees Celsius

According to Thanh Nien reporters on April 30, the road to Linh Ung Pagoda (Son Tra Peninsula, Da Nang City) was jammed due to the large number of vehicles. Most of the people and tourists chose Son Tra Peninsula to watch the sea and enjoy the cool air because the weather in the city center was hot and humid.

Tourists brave the sun to visit Linh Ung Pagoda on April 30 holiday

Linh Ung Pagoda is packed with tourists trying to avoid the heat.

Ms. Ho Thanh Hoa (a tourist from Gia Lai province) said that when her family arrived in Da Nang city, they were shocked by the extremely hot weather. After being introduced by some acquaintances to go to Son Tra peninsula to explore the "green lung" and visit Linh Ung pagoda, she immediately followed.

"When visiting Linh Ung Pagoda under the canopy of ancient trees with the sea breeze, I feel much cooler. My family will take a lunch break on Son Tra to explore the mountains and forests. When the sun goes down and the heat subsides, I return to the city to go swimming," Ms. Hoa said about her Da Nang travel schedule on April 30.

Although the weather was quite hot, there were many international tourists visiting Linh Ung Pagoda.

At Ngu Hanh Son scenic area (Da Nang city) on April 30, from the morning, thousands of tourists flocked to visit this place.

There were many tourists standing in long lines in the sun waiting to take the elevator up to Ngu Hanh Son mountain.

In recent days, during the April 30 - May 1 holiday, beaches in Da Nang City have always been overloaded because people and tourists flocked to the beach to have fun, swim and cool off.

Tourists when swimming in Da Nang beach can also choose to play sports such as parasailing, banana boating, SUP... prices from 150,000 VND to 1 million VND.

According to the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City, the number of visitors to Da Nang is expected to reach 340,000, an increase of 5% over the same period last year, of which international visitors are expected to increase by nearly 4%.
