In the first 2 months of 2025, the total number of tourists to Hanoi reached 4.59 million, an increase of 7.4% over the same period in 2024. The number of tourists to Hanoi increased, so the total revenue from tourists reached 18.25 trillion VND, an increase of 9% over the same period in 2024.
Currently, there are 3,761 accommodation establishments in Hanoi, with 71,256 rooms; including 94 hotels and apartment complexes ranked from 1 to 5 stars with a total of 12,267 rooms. Specifically, there are 23 hotels and 7 apartment complexes ranked 5 stars; 17 hotels and 1 apartment complex ranked 4 stars; 13 hotels ranked 3 stars; 19 hotels ranked 2 stars and 14 hotels ranked 1 star. The number of unregistered tourist accommodation establishments is 3,667 establishments, with 59,109 rooms. In February 2025, the average room occupancy rate of the hotel block reached 62.34%, an increase of 1.2% over the same period in 2024.
