During the April 30 - May 1 holiday, many plum gardens in Moc Chau allowed visitors to visit and experience plum picking directly in the garden. According to some garden owners, the number of visitors to the gardens was quite large from morning to afternoon.
Visitors to the plum garden must pay an entrance fee of 40,000 - 50,000 VND, including picking plums and eating them on the spot in any quantity they want. The price of plums to take home ranges from 70,000 - 80,000 VND/kg. The best time to visit the garden is from 8 - 10 am, followed by lunch, according to some garden owners.
"This is the general price for this year's plum season, 10,000 - 20,000 VND higher than last year," said Ms. Hai Yen, owner of a plum garden in Cho Long hamlet, Nong Truong town, adding that when plums are in season, services may be discounted.

Quang Kien, a tourism worker in Moc Chau, said that plums are only in their off-season right now, and it will be about two weeks before the plum gardens in Moc Chau really enter their beautiful season. Usually, many gardeners will provide full services of eating, sleeping and resting in the garden for tourists.
In summer, Moc Chau is one of the ideal destinations to escape the heat thanks to its cool weather. In addition to the plum season, visitors to Moc Chau also have many experiences such as admiring the green color of tea hills and breathing the fresh air in the early morning. Dai Yem waterfall and Nang Tien waterfall are also in their beautiful season when the water is clear and gentle.
