The marching groups entered the stage amidst the bustling music and colorful flags, creating a vibrant and solemn picture. Leading the way was the Vietnamese National Flag - the sacred symbol of the sacred soul of the mountains and rivers; followed by the Congress's logo, Uncle Ho's palanquin; the armed forces, the Fatherland Front and organizations, cadres, civil servants, schools, medical staff and village representatives...

The traditional flame - a symbol of will, strength and aspiration - was lit on the torch stand by comrade Bui Thi Thu Hien, Party Secretary and Chairwoman of the Commune People's Council.

In her opening speech, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of the commune Pham Thuy Hoa emphasized that the first Van Dinh Commune Sports Festival is a great festival for all people, an opportunity to summarize and evaluate the results of the mass sports movement in recent years, and at the same time select outstanding athletes to participate in the 11th Capital Sports Festival in 2025. The festival is also a practical activity that contributes to improving spiritual life, improving health, building a cultural lifestyle and solidarity in the community.

Within the framework of the Congress, the commune organized competitions in 8 sports including: badminton, table tennis, tug of war, sack race, chess, volleyball and football. The athletes competed enthusiastically and honestly, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity and the desire to rise up.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, delegates and people enjoyed exciting performances of health care, folk dance, martial arts and group dance by students, leaving a strong impression, encouraging the spirit of "Healthy to build and protect the Fatherland".

At the ceremony, the People's Committee of Van Dinh commune awarded Certificates of Merit to 10 collectives with outstanding achievements in the sports movement, recognizing their positive contributions to the development of the local sports movement.
