According to the Department of Education and Training, heavy rains have flooded some roads, causing localized isolation and flooding schools in communes and wards of Ky Anh town, Ky Anh district and Cam Xuyen (old). Therefore, today, the whole province has 51/676 educational establishments with nearly 37,000 students having to stay home from school due to floods.

Faced with the complicated developments of floods, the Department of Education and Training has directed units to regularly monitor and grasp the situation of floods and the risk of flooding; promptly inform all cadres, teachers, staff and students to proactively prevent and promptly notify school closures if necessary to ensure absolute safety.

Schools organize and assign staff to be on duty 24/7, proactively transport furniture, preserve facilities and teaching equipment; at the same time, ensure communication and regular and ad hoc reporting.
After the flood receded, the school mobilized forces to promptly clean classrooms, disinfect, and clean the environment to resume teaching and learning activities.
