(Baothanhhoa.vn) - On July 25, the Northern Power Corporation held a ceremony to put up a sign for the 110kV South City Transmission Line and Transformer Station Project, Thanh Hoa Province. This is a project to welcome the 4th Congress of the Party Committee of Vietnam Electricity (EVN), term 2025-2030.

Delegates performed the ceremony of attaching a signboard to the project to welcome the 4th Congress of Delegates of the Party Committee of Vietnam Electricity Group (term 2025-2030).

Attending the ceremony were representatives of EVN leaders, leaders of the Northern Power Corporation; leaders of relevant departments, branches and local authorities where the project is implemented.

Overview of the project of 110kV Transmission Line and Transformer Station in Nam Thanh City, Thanh Hoa province.

The 110kV South City Power Line and Transformer Station project, Thanh Hoa province, is a level II, group C energy project, with an investment scale including: Construction of a 110kV double-circuit power line using ACSR-300mm ² conductor to supply power to the 110kV South City Power Station, Thanh Hoa province with a length of 45m and construction of a new 110/35/22kV transformer with a capacity of 2x40MVA (phase 1 installs T1 - 40MVA transformer).

The project is in line with the Power Development Plan of Thanh Hoa province for the period 2016-2025, with a vision to 2035.

The 110kV Southern City Transmission Line and Transformer Station Project has a total investment of nearly 53 billion VND, starting construction on June 3, 2024 in Quang Cat ward, Thanh Hoa city (now Quang Phu ward).

Given the importance of the project, the Northern Power Construction Project Management Board and Thanh Hoa Power Company coordinated smoothly, assigned specific tasks to each participating member, arranged members to operate and promptly handle situations arising at the project site, and transferred MBAs effectively and appropriately...

The project implementation process has always received attention and close direction from the leaders of Thanh Hoa province, Vietnam Electricity Group, Northern Power Corporation; and effective coordination of relevant departments and branches.

The project was completed, energized and put into operation on schedule, contributing to meeting the electricity demand for the Southern area of ​​Thanh Hoa city (old) in particular and important medium-voltage loads in the areas and surrounding areas, sharing the load for the 110kV City station (E9.9), 110kV West City (E9.27), 110kV Quang Xuong (E9.29) and 110kV Sam Son (E9.11) which are regularly operating at full load of over 90%, ensuring optimization and grid connection, flexibility in operation, reducing power loss, and improving the reliability of power supply.

The project plays a particularly important role in ensuring power supply for the communes and wards of the former Thanh Hoa City and the Southern City Urban Area, Le Mon Industrial Park; increasing the ability to operate safely and stably for the national power system.

This is one of the typical projects, of important significance in ensuring electricity supply, promoting socio -economic development of Thanh Hoa province, improving production and business efficiency of Vietnam Electricity Group, contributing to the development of national energy infrastructure and improving people's lives.
