Thoi Son Ward Youth Union carries out 600 youth projects and tasks

On October 29, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Thoi Son ward (An Giang province) held the 1st Congress of delegates, term 2025 - 2030.

The Party Executive Committee of Thoi Son ward presented a congratulatory banner to the congress.

During the past term, Thoi Son Ward Youth Union carried out 125 projects and 475 youth tasks; launched the "Digital Literacy" team to support people with digital skills; actively participated in patrolling and protecting borders and landmarks. The work of building the Youth Union was focused on, recruiting 315 new members, exceeding the set target.

The Executive Committee of Thoi Son Ward Youth Union took a souvenir photo with leaders of An Giang Provincial Youth Union and local authorities.

The Congress approved the decision of the Standing Committee of An Giang Provincial Youth Union to appoint the Executive Committee of Thoi Son Ward Youth Union, Term I, consisting of 25 comrades, and the Standing Committee of 7 comrades. Ms. Duong Thi Tra Hoa was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of Thoi Son Ward Youth Union for the 2025-2030 term.

With the slogan of action "Solidarity - Pioneering - Breakthrough - Development", the congress agreed on 17 targets; 2 breakthrough tasks in the new term: "Breakthrough in digital transformation and innovation in youth activities" and "Breakthrough in building civilized - green - clean - beautiful urban areas associated with preserving cultural identity".

The Congress unanimously registered to carry out 6 youth projects during the term. Specifically: Mobilizing the construction of 5 new Charity houses; building 1 park for activities and entertainment for youth and children; building 50 solar-powered lighting systems for rural roads; mobilizing the donation of 300 flagpoles and 500 photos of Uncle Ho to households; supporting 2 young people to escape poverty sustainably; organizing 3 medical examinations, distributing medicine, and giving gifts to people in difficult circumstances.
