O Lam Commune has 12 schools, including: 3 kindergartens, 6 primary schools, 3 secondary schools, with nearly 5,100 students. Implementing the 2018 General Education Program, all schools have invested in building new and upgrading classrooms and restrooms.

However, due to the reorganization of administrative units, the projects have not been accepted and handed over to the schools. To solve the shortage of classrooms, the schools have proactively contacted the investor, the Project Management Board of Construction Investment in Region 4, to put the projects into use while waiting for acceptance procedures.

The school boards continue to renovate the pedagogical landscape, mobilize social resources to renovate the schoolyard, ensure environmental hygiene, and prevent epidemics in schools. Specialized departments under the People's Committee of the commune proactively develop investment plans, supplement equipment and facilities for schools in 2026.
