Five more fishing vessels were handled for violating seafood exploitation regulations.

On October 31, during the peak period of patrolling, inspecting, controlling, handling violations and strictly managing fishing vessels in An Giang province, the working group of the An Giang Fisheries and Fisheries Surveillance Department discovered and handled 5 more violating fishing vessels.

Authorities put up a sign saying "Fishing vessel not qualified to operate" and handed over the vehicle to local authorities for management.

The working group discovered and handled fishing boats of Mr. Pham Chi Nguyen (Tan Thanh commune), Truong Van Nho (Tay Yen commune), Cao Truong Giang (Khanh Hoi commune) for violating the fishing regulations stated in their licenses; and Mr. Huynh Van Toan and Nguyen Van Muc (Tay Yen commune) for not registering their fishing boats as prescribed.

The working group drew up a record of administrative violations, posted a sign saying "Fishing vessel not qualified to operate" and handed over the vehicle to the local authorities for strict management until all required procedures were completed.

Since the peak month of operation, working group No. 2 of the An Giang Fisheries and Fisheries Surveillance Department has discovered and handled 7 fishing vessels violating regulations on seafood exploitation at sea.
