Urgently preparing for the 1st Congress of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030

The Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Party Committee was established under Decision No. 09-QD/TU, dated July 3, 2025 of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee. The Party Committee was formed on the basis of receiving 172 grassroots party organizations with 10,933 party members from the Party Committees of the People's Committees of 3 provinces: Binh Thuan - Dak Nong and Lam Dong (old) and 2 grassroots party committees (Da Lat University, Nuclear Research Institute) under the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee.

After the reorganization of the administrative agencies and public service units of the province, the grassroots party organizations have been reorganized and consolidated. Accordingly, the Party Committee currently has 86 grassroots party organizations (55 grassroots party committees and 31 grassroots party cells) with 11,290 party members. There is 1 affiliated mass organization (Youth Union of the Provincial People's Committee).

Immediately after its establishment, the Standing Committee of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Party Committee promptly directed and stabilized the organizational structure; established advisory and support agencies for the Party Committee; advised on the development and promulgation of the Party Committee's Working Regulations, the Party Committee's Inspection Committee and the Work Program for the remaining months of 2025, in order to quickly put the Party Committee's activities into operation, in order, ensuring unified, consistent and effective leadership and direction. In particular, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee urgently prepared the conditions for organizing the 1st Congress of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, ensuring progress according to the direction of the Provincial Party Committee.

Following the direction and guidance of the superiors, the Provincial Party Committee has issued a plan to organize the congress, propagate, direct, disseminate and implement the directives, resolutions, regulations and instructions of the Central and Provincial Party Committee on organizing the congress. At the same time, the Standing Committee also registered the time and number of delegates attending the congress. Accordingly, the congress is expected to be held for 2 days (August 21 and 22, 2025) with 300 delegates attending, representing more than 10,000 party members of the Party Committee.

To prepare well for the congress, the Party Committee also established sub-committees to serve the congress, including: Documents Sub-committee, Personnel Sub-committee, Propaganda and Congress Service Sub-committee; Working Groups for the Congress Service Sub-committees with clear assignment of tasks and specific roadmap, time and content. Accordingly, assigning full-time Party Committee members as Heads of Working Groups for the Congress Service Sub-committees, closely implementing each stage, each step and each content in the congress preparation work, promptly monitoring, urging, inspecting, detecting problems to rectify and overcome, ensuring that the preparation work is thorough, high-quality and serious.

In addition, after completing the draft documents of the Provincial People's Committee Party Congress, the Party Committee promptly sent the draft to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for comments. At the same time, it sought comments from cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, and workers participating in the drafting of the political report of the Provincial People's Committee Party Congress, documents of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Congress, and documents of the 14th National Congress of the Party. In particular, it directed the Party Committees of grassroots party organizations to promptly grasp the situation and orient the ideology of cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, and workers before, during, and after the 1st Provincial People's Committee Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

Identifying one of the important factors contributing to the success of the congress is propaganda work, therefore, the Party Committee focuses on propaganda work for the congress and deploys it in many rich and diverse forms: propaganda on mass media, social networks; through oral propaganda; visual propaganda, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere among all cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, and workers towards the congress... At the same time, leaders of grassroots party organizations launch and promote patriotic emulation movements; build, complete, and put up signs for works welcoming the congress and honor typical and advanced collectives and individuals.

This congress took place with 2 contents, however, the Party Committee also paid attention to personnel work, focusing on building a project to allocate delegates to attend the Provincial People's Committee Party Congress; building regulations, rules... to best prepare for the congress.

It can be said that this term's congress is an important political event, laying the foundation for the sustainable development of the Party after the merger of provincial and communal administrative units. Therefore, careful preparation is the key factor, deciding the success of the Provincial People's Committee Party Congress.
