Today, May 11, coffee exchanges around the world are closed for the weekend. Looking back at last week, Robusta coffee prices had 3 sessions of decline and 1 session of increase, the remaining session was a Bank Holiday.
Overall, the price of Robusta coffee decreased by 65 USD/ton compared to the previous week, closing the week at 5,226 USD/ton for the July 2025 delivery period.
Domestic coffee prices last week did not exceed 129,000 VND/kg while people expected it to be over 130,000 VND/kg.
The latest coffee price in the Central Highlands is 128,200 VND/kg, down 400 VND/kg compared to last weekend.


The downward trend in coffee prices comes amid reports of improved supplies as Brazil enters its new Robusta harvest season and many other coffee exporting countries also release statistics showing increased production.
The tendency of coffee prices to decrease from May every year is a law of supply and demand that has occurred for many years.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment , in the first 4 months of the year, Vietnam's coffee exports continued to achieve impressive results with an average unit price of nearly 5,700 USD/ton (including processed coffee), an increase of 67.5% over the same period in 2024.
In terms of market, Germany, Italy and Spain are the three largest coffee consuming markets of Vietnam, accounting for market shares of 16.9%, 8.4% and 7.3% respectively.
By the first quarter of 2025, coffee exports to the German market increased 2.1 times; Italy increased 20%; Spain increased 36.1%.
