Domestic coffee price list updated on the morning of April 13, 2025 |
Experts say that with positive information from the world and domestic markets, coffee prices are forecast to continue to increase in the coming time. However, experts also warn of potential risks from the global economic situation, especially a possible recession.
Domestic coffee prices are expected to continue to rise amid limited global coffee supplies. According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the US has temporarily suspended high tariffs on a number of agricultural products, including coffee. This move has helped improve the sentiment of producers and traders.
The global coffee market has been on a strong rise in recent days, supported by the USD index (DXY) falling to a three-year low, prompting short covering activities in coffee futures contracts.
Supply concerns are also supporting coffee prices. According to a report by the Brazilian Coffee Exporters Association (Cecafe), Brazil's green coffee exports in March 2025 fell 26% year-on-year to just 2.95 million bags.
Robusta coffee prices are rising on signs of tight supplies, after ICE-monitored Robusta coffee inventories fell to a six-week low on Friday (April 11), with just 4,253 shipments.
