Latest Arabica and Robusta prices as of December 15, 2025
Coffee prices worldwide remained unchanged today . Last week, both the London and New York exchanges saw sharp declines due to concerns about increased supply as Vietnam entered its harvest season.
The global composite coffee price index (I-CIP), tracked by the ICO, averaged 330.4 cents/pound in November, up 1.2% from the previous month. The I-CIP trended downward in the first half of the month, hitting a low of 320.4 cents/pound on November 14th, before stabilizing around an average of 327.1 cents/pound in the second half.
The International Coffee Organization (ICO) identified two main factors influencing international coffee price fluctuations: changes in US tariffs and severe flooding in Vietnam. On November 14, 2025, the White House announced an executive order exempting imported coffee from reciprocal tariffs, causing prices to fall by 6.8% over three consecutive days. Subsequently, the removal of the 40% additional tariff on Brazilian coffee on November 20 had little impact on prices, indicating that the market had anticipated this and did not expect a significant increase in international supply.

The early stabilization and only slight decline in the I-CIP reflect the emergence of factors supporting price increases. From the weekend of November 15th, Vietnam's Central Highlands, the main coffee-producing region, suffered severe flooding. Rainfall in some areas exceeded 1,100 mm, compared to the usual November average of 104.3 mm. In Dak Lak , the largest producing province, approximately 10-15% of the harvested 2025/26 crop was affected.
Additionally, Typhoon Senya caused flooding and landslides in the Indonesian provinces of Aceh, West Sumatra, and North Sumatra during the last week of November, affecting more than three million people. The ICO stated that more time will be needed to fully assess the weather-related impacts on supply conditions in the two largest coffee-producing countries in the Asia-Oceania region, as well as to determine the consequences for global supply.
Therefore, the price of coffee today, December 15, 2025, in the world remains unchanged compared to yesterday.
