Vicofa believes that the main reason for the recent drop in agricultural product prices is primarily due to supply and demand factors and the global market, with a key highlight being Vietnam's peak harvest season, resulting in a recorded increase in production.

Many farmers, fearing that prices might no longer be favorable, chose to sell immediately after harvest (mostly fresh), instead of storing their produce and waiting for better prices like in previous seasons. However, with this year's prices and yields, many farmers still achieved very good profits.

According to assessments, Vietnam's domestic coffee market is experiencing strong growth, driven by a burgeoning coffee culture, rising incomes, and a young, highly urbanized population with a demand for new coffee experiences. While exports remain the industry's primary focus, the domestic market is becoming increasingly important.

Currently, Dak Lak province has over 200,000 hectares of coffee plantations, producing more than 530,000 tons per year. This commodity is a key agricultural product in the province's economic structure, accounting for a large proportion of its total social product and annual export turnover.

In recent years, the prices of agricultural products such as coffee, pepper, and durian have remained stable at high levels, making farmers very happy and improving their economic lives.

Therefore, the price of coffee in Vietnam today, December 14, 2025, is trading around 98,700 - 99,500 VND/kg.
