In Gia Lai province, the Chu Prong area is trading at 99,000 VND/kg, while Pleiku and La Grai are maintaining a price of 98,900 VND/kg.

Vicofa believes that the main reason for the recent drop in agricultural product prices is primarily due to supply and demand factors and the global market, with a key highlight being Vietnam's peak harvest season, resulting in a recorded increase in production.
Many farmers, fearing that prices might no longer be favorable, chose to sell immediately after harvest (mostly fresh), instead of storing their produce and waiting for better prices like in previous seasons. However, with this year's prices and yields, many farmers still achieved very good profits.
