Gia Lai approves the investment plan for the Dak Doa golf course project.

(GLO) - The People's Committee of Gia Lai province has just issued a decision approving the investment plan for the Dak Doa golf course project through a bidding process to select an investor.

According to the decision, the Dak Doa golf course will have 36 holes, with an estimated investment of over 1.150 billion VND on an area of ​​over 171 hectares.

The project will be launched in Q1 2026 and completed and put into operation in Q3 2029. The project's operating period is 50 years.

The project aims to attract investment projects for the construction, expansion, and upgrading of technical infrastructure in the western area of ​​Gia Lai; contribute to the completion of spatial and architectural landscape development orientations; and address employment needs for local workers.

The People's Committee of Gia Lai province requires investors registering to implement projects to commit to paying the value of assets attached to the land (pine forest) and other costs that previous investors who won the auction have already paid into the state budget. Specifically, this includes: compensation for damages when changing the land use purpose of the forest, investment costs for forest creation, the value of reforestation, and the value of land use rights according to the value determined by the competent authority in accordance with the law on the management and use of public assets and other relevant current regulations.

This value is independent of the investor's obligation to pay land use fees, land rent, and other financial obligations to the state budget as stipulated by law.

During the project implementation process, investors must fully and strictly comply with all legal regulations on investment, construction, land, forestry, security and order, environmental resources, water resources, and other relevant legal regulations; ensuring sufficient equity capital and mobilized capital in accordance with legal regulations to implement the project according to the committed schedule.

The Provincial People's Committee assigns the relevant departments, agencies, the People's Committee of Dak Doa commune, and other related agencies and units, according to their functions and duties, to be responsible for guiding, urging, inspecting, and supervising the implementation to ensure compliance with current State regulations.
