Pepper exports in 10 months reached 1.39 billion USD
According to the Vietnam Pepper and Spice Association (VPSA), by the end of October 2025, Vietnam had exported 206,427 tons of pepper. Of which, black pepper reached 176,577 tons and white pepper reached 29,850 tons.

This shows that the value of the pepper industry is increasing strongly thanks to high selling prices, despite decreasing output.
The US remains the largest market with 44,262 tonnes, accounting for 21.4%, although down 29.4% year-on-year. However, this figure is still 3.9% higher than in 2023, reflecting recovering demand.

Prospects of reaching the 1.5 billion USD mark in 2025
With export prices remaining high and global demand recovering, Vietnam's pepper industry is approaching its export target of 1.5 billion USD in 2025.
Compared to 1.318 billion USD in 2024, if this figure is achieved, it will be a new record, consolidating Vietnam's position as the world's number 1 pepper exporter.
