Gold price at 4:30 am on April 23, SJC Gold and Silver raised the price of gold bars to 124 million VND/tael for selling and 122 million VND/tael for buying. Thus, compared to the opening session yesterday morning (April 22), the price of SJC gold bars has increased by 6 million VND/tael. If calculated in the first 2 days of the week, the price of SJC gold bars increased by 10 million VND/tael.

The selling price of 9999 gold rings at SJC gold and silver at the end of the day slightly decreased by 500,000 VND/tael following the decrease in world gold prices, to 119 million VND/tael for selling and 116 million VND/tael for buying.

PNJ listed SJC gold bars at 124 million VND/tael for sale and 122 million VND/tael for purchase.

While the selling price of 9999 gold rings this morning is 120 million VND/tael, buying price is 117 million VND/tael.

At Bao Tin Minh Chau Gold and Silver, the selling price of 9999 gold rings decreased to 122 million VND/tael, buying price 119 million VND/tael.

Compared to the converted world gold price, the price of SJC gold bars is 16.24 million VND/tael higher while the price of gold rings is 12.24 million VND/tael higher.

World gold price today April 23

After nearly reaching the threshold of 3,500 USD/ounce, on the morning of April 23, the world gold price turned down to 3,426 USD/ounce.

Converted according to the exchange rate listed at the bank, the world gold price is equivalent to 107.76 million VND/tael.

World gold prices have increased vertically over the past several days, causing domestic gold prices to skyrocket.

In early 2025, the selling price of SJC gold bars was only VND84 million/tael, but after less than 4 months, the gold price increased by VND44 million/tael, equivalent to 52.38%. From April 10 to now, the price of SJC gold bars has increased by VND20.7 million/tael. The increase is so attractive that many people invest in gold. However, buying gold bars and gold rings is not easy because the market is always in a state of shortage.
