World gold price today January 27, 2025 and world gold price fluctuation chart in the past 24 hours
According to Kitco, the world gold price recorded at 4:30 a.m. today, Vietnam time, was 2,771.52 USD/ounce. Today's gold price is unchanged from yesterday. Converted according to the USD exchange rate on the free market (25,460 VND/USD), the world gold price is about 85 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees). Thus, the price of SJC gold bars is 2.9 million VND/tael higher than the international gold price.

According to Giavang.net experts, the price of gold bars is expected to reach 89 million VND/tael to prepare for a new price increase cycle and conquer the record peak of 92 million VND/tael on the upcoming God of Wealth Day. Transactions on the market are likely to decrease and increase sharply in the first days of the new year.
Meanwhile, the gold ring market has just experienced an extremely active trading week. However, the next week, due to the Lunar New Year holiday lasting up to 9 days, may reduce the heat and interest of domestic investors.
It is expected that the price of gold rings will soon reach 89 million VND/tael and return to its all-time record high on the upcoming God of Wealth Day trading period. Similar to gold bars, the opportunity for gold ring prices to increase is more positive than the risk of price decline.
The upward trend of world gold prices is expected to continue this week, although there may still be many potential risks because there are too many important policy meetings about to be announced by the US Government. Meanwhile, domestic gold prices are also anchored at high levels by businesses to hedge against risks.
According to research experts, from now until the last day of January, there will be two scenarios for the world gold price. Accordingly, if gold increases, the first resistance zone will be determined to be 2,790 - 2,800 USD/ounce - the all-time high and the gold price will have a successful breakout and start using the 2,800 USD/ounce mark as a support level and the next target of this precious metal is to aim for 2,900 USD/ounce. In the opposite scenario, the gold price may adjust with the first support level being 2,750 USD/ounce - the midpoint of the ascending channel, then it may slide to 2,710 USD/ounce then 2,700 USD/ounce and maybe even 2,680 USD - the average level over the past 20 days.
The latest Kitco News survey shows that industry experts are extremely bullish on gold prices, with retail investors also increasing their confidence in the precious metal's ability to re-establish record highs.
This week, 10 analysts participated in the Kitco News gold survey. Eight experts (80%) expect gold prices to rise next week, while only one expert (10%) predicts prices will fall and another expert sees gold moving sideways in the short term.
Meanwhile, 169 votes were cast in Kitco’s online poll. 118 retail traders (70%) predicted gold prices would rise next week, while 25 (15%) said they expected gold prices to fall. The remaining 26 (15%) predicted gold prices would fluctuate sideways in the coming period.
Markets will be paying attention to a number of U.S. economic data, including December new home sales on Monday, durable goods and consumer confidence reports on Tuesday, fourth-quarter GDP, weekly jobless claims and pending home sales on Thursday, and PCE, personal income and personal spending on Friday morning.
