Duck meat prices are low

(CT) - Compared to previous months, the price of domestic duck in many localities in the Mekong Delta has decreased by 5,000-10,000 VND/kg and is at its lowest level since the beginning of 2023. Currently, the price of ready-to-eat domestic duck is sold at many markets at 75,000-80,000 VND/kg, while previously it was 80,000-85,000 VND/kg. The price of domestic duck (ducks raised in the fields, fed rice, corn...) sold by farmers to traders is 45,000-50,000 VND/kg, while the price of super meat duck (Grimaud duck, fed with industrial feed) is 34,000-40,000 VND/kg. The price of duck meat has decreased because recently there has been a large amount of ducks ready for sale, while the demand has somewhat decreased compared to before because there are many other types of fish and meat on the market with cheaper prices for consumers to choose from.

Duck and chicken meat are sold at House Cage 3, Cai Khe Trade Center, Can Tho City.
