Gasoline prices remain the same, oil prices increase or decrease depending on the type

The Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance adjusted gasoline prices from 3:00 p.m. today, June 12.

Accordingly, the price of E5 RON92 gasoline remains the same as the current retail price, not higher than 20,878 VND/liter. RON95 gasoline also remains the same, the selling price is not higher than 22,015 VND/liter.

Meanwhile, the prices of various types of oil were adjusted up and down differently. Specifically, diesel oil increased by 85 VND/liter, not higher than 18,028 VND/liter. Kerosene increased by 52 VND/liter, not higher than 17,823 VND/liter.

On the contrary, the price of fuel oil was adjusted down by 164 VND/kg compared to the current retail price, not higher than 14,719 VND/kg.

In this period, the joint ministries set aside a price stabilization fund for E5 RON92 gasoline at 228 VND/liter (previous period 300 VND/liter), RON95 gasoline at 180 VND/liter (previous period 300 VND/liter); diesel oil at 200 VND/liter (previous period 300 VND/liter); kerosene at 200 VND/liter (previous period 300 VND/liter); mazut oil at 100 VND/kg (previous period 300 VND/kg).

At the same time, the management agency does not spend the price stabilization fund on all gasoline and oil products.

In the previous adjustment period (June 1), the Ministry of Finance - Industry and Trade adjusted gasoline prices as follows: E5 RON92 gasoline price increased by 390 VND/liter, the new price is 20,878 VND/liter; RON95 gasoline increased by 516 VND/liter, to 22,015 VND/liter.

Meanwhile, oil products were all adjusted down. Specifically, diesel oil decreased by 11 VND/liter, to 17,943 VND/liter; kerosene decreased by 198 VND/liter, to 17,771 VND/liter and fuel oil decreased by 275 VND/kg compared to the current retail price, not higher than 14,883 VND/kg.

Since the beginning of the year, gasoline prices have undergone 17 price adjustments, including 9 increases, 6 decreases, and 2 unchanged.
